Facebook Netiquette, the never ending story! 😉
Did you ever get a friends request from a stranger? How did it make you feel? I bet you where wondering, who is that? And why asking me for friendship? I get them all the time. Sometimes from people I never ever heard of and sometimes in a group, from someone I never had a conversation with. Usually it’s a person who saw me interact with someone else. Liked what I had to say and therefore thought, Oh yes! I want to be “friends” with her. Very possible, but do I want to be friends with this person? Give me a chance to figure that out and I might say yes.
So here you have it, my rant on non existent Facebook Netiquette behavior.
The reason I decided to this topic today is that I had 99 friends requests piled up in my request box. Now and then I sit down and send a replies asking; who are you and why be friends with me?
Some get startled.
Some get embarrassed.
Some make excuses. Saying, I NEVER do that! I don’t know why that happened?
And some, some never answer back.
But most are quite delighted that a real person took notice and wrote back, with a polite and sociable question.
Who Are YOU?
I recommend my strategy because it works! Trust me, these super simple tips I’m sharing with you today, they work. I earn money using them!
Confession time: How is your Facebook netiquette? Did you ever send of a friends request like the one above? Be honest. Hand on heart!
In case you are one of those that never got your friends request answered after doing that anonymous thing. Now you know why. People don’t like to interact with strangers. You know how you feel when a stranger starts talking to you from out of the blue. It makes you feel insecure. Suspicious even. We are all the same.
To be friends with me a good way to start is to go over to my fan page and like it. Then, lets take it from there. 🙂
