Mineral oil uses, are there any good ones? According to me – NO! Well, at least not when it comes to skin care. Same goes for hair products.

Pretty alarming don’t you think? Some of you might wonder if it wouldn’t be the same thing if you put dried apricots into almond oil? Or any good vegetable oil, for that matter.

Not really, as you can easily eat and enjoy both vegetable oils and apricots. Vegetable oils don’t put your health at stake. On the contrary, they are not only healthy for you, they are delicious too. Eat mineral oil and you run into a big time problem!

What are they selling?

Now, isn’t this an awkward picture? Look at them!

These young women could just as well promote facial creams or a cosmetics brand, as far as I’m concerned. But instead they are smiling about motor oil. Ironically they both are composed of the same base ingredient… You guessed it, mineral oil!

Conclusion: Mineral oil is excellent for motors, hinges, bicycle chains etc. and should be kept away from your face, hair and hands!
