I Mean It, Honour Your Challenges!
We are constantly being told that we should conquer our challenges. However they are there for a reason and therefore I say to honour your challenges!
When you honour them, become friends with them and recognize that they are there to help you with something, to teach you something, guide you, it will be much easier to go through whatever it is those difficulties are pointing towards.
Instead of battling yourself…
When your aim is to conquer your challenges the battle occurs. A battle within yourself. Battling yourself, it’s such a waste of time. And such a waste of energy. And resources.
When you instead honor your challenges be it sleep, be it stress, be it a relationship, be it financial struggles, they will come to your aid and point you in the right direction.
So don’t be hard on yourself, be kind. Honour where you’re at and see your challenge as a resource for moving on. You wanna sleep better? If so become friends with your sleep problem. Listen to it with trust in you heart, it does have a message for you, I promise!

What an awesome post! I need to hear your encouragement to be kind about your challenges. Someone in my family has a life-threatening illness, and it is also winter, which challenges me, so I am eating more than I need to eat. I also am staying up later than I’d like to and getting up late. I do want to be as kind to myself and gentle with myself as I can so I really appreciate your encouragement! <3
Jeanine, the seasons give you body a flow. Is you idea about “late” a judgement?
I go to bed late and raise late too. It’s winter, that’s how I work at this time of year, I’m not trying to battle it in any way! 🙂
